Mending not for you?

If you like the look of visible mending but aren’t able to try it for yourself, I also offer a visible mending repair service.

From broken belt loops, rips in denim, worn through elbows on jumpers and holey socks, email me with photos and a description of your clothing and the damage that needs mending.

I will then send across my FAQ's page to you which is filled with repair examples, design ideas and price guide. We can then talk through options for your clothing from colour palettes to stitch placement and I can work out a quote and time frame for you.

Let's get mending!

Just received my cardigan back and I am over the moon! What a creative and professional job. It looks better than the original. Fantastically professional, great communication, well sourced materials and a beautifully executed job. Thank you so much.

Skye did the most beautiful, visible mend on my precious jumper. Skye shared images of previous repair projects with me so that I could choose from a range of finishes and I picked the thread colours myself. I'm so happy to have this jumper back in action ahead of autumn and winter and how it now flies the flag for clothing care & repair.

A truly beautiful job patching up an old and cherished cardigan, which is now whole again and much funkier. The detailed works is a joy and the communication throughout the process was wonderful.

Skye is a genius..! I gave her a beautiful wool and appliqué jacket from Guatemala I'd bought 35 years ago and is now being worn by my 21 year old daughter and falling apart. She managed to get some old wool to match the original yarn and repaired it beautifully without taking away any of its vintage charm. And all in time for Xmas. She is lovely to work with, super responsive and very talented.

I have asked Skye to repair a number of pieces for me and I get a lot of compliments about her visible repairs.

Skye offers a lot of colour/fabric options first and clears it with you before repairing. The repairs are done to the highest standard and have given me many more years of wear in my favourite clothes. She gives a clear timeline for repairs and collected and dropped off the items at my home. She is super approachable, I’ve used her services twice and would happily do so again.

I recently had my favourite jumper repaired, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The craftsmanship is top-notch, you can’t even tell where the damage was. Skye paid such close attention to detail, ensuring that it matched perfectly, the repair is invisible. It's rare to find such quality service these days, and I’ll definitely be returning for any future repairs. Highly recommended
